Overview
FrogBox is a division of InteractSport Pty Ltd, which is part of Sportradar
FrogBox | Capture, produce and broadcast entire cricket matches. Automatically.
FrogBox talks more about the cricket opportunity, where as InteractSport talks more about how it can work for multiple sports.
InteractSport - Sport Digital Solutions
InteractSport has offices in Australia and UK. InteractSport, which is focussed on cricket, is one of Sportsradar’s 3 key Sports Solutions, alongside Synergy Sports, which is focussed on scouts, coaches and analysts, and then Data Services, which is around data best practice, rights and integrity.
- [ ] Question: Are Synergy Sports and Data Services cricket specific?

InteractSport Automated Sports Video Modules
Automated Sports Video is one of InteractSport’s three key solutions alongside Sports Management Platform and Content Commercialisation. Automated Sports Video seems analogous to the branded FrogBox offering, where FrogBox (and probably Lilypad too from a Fan Engagement perspective) are cricket specific.
(Also worth noting that the first two of these make InteractSport a competitor of Pitchero, with the latter being simiar to how Pitchero provides a solution to Pitching In for the Trident leagues in England’s non-league football pyramid)
The Automated Sports Video modules are:
Video Management & Distribution
Automated video management system and end user match centres. Streaming, mixing, highlights and more.
- [ ] Question: Is it possible to export content directly to social platforms?
- [ ] Question: What is meant by ‘Multiple endpoints’. Are you talking about destinations, i.e. Play-cricket, Facebook Live or You Tube, or are you referring to the ability to pull in data from other APIs, in particular scoring or stats apps for example?
- [ ] Question: Can content be distributed in multiple aspect ratios, so it can hit audiences on platforms like Instagram of TikTok?
- [ ] Questions: ‘This service is included as a part of the FrogBox Season pass or can be made available as a standalone service.’ How is it made available? What other services has it worked with? Much of what sits under this section in terms of management and match centres seems to be dependant on the season pass. If a user doesn’t take the season pass, can developers get access to the Play Cricket Scorer API to bring in ball-by-ball scores for cricket?
- [ ] Questions: What level of control is there over automated highlight generation? Can a user determine what metadata is used to build the highlights? Can highlights be generated from custom tags? (i.e. a highlights reel of all pull-shots?). Are highlights searchable on a ball-by-ball basis and if so by what criteria? And is all of this dependant on having the season pass?
